“Christine’s BOUNDLESS energy and willingness to assist with all aspects of our production makes her a standout student in Advanced Drama.” stated Mrs. Swarm the Advanced Drama director and seventh grade Language Arts teacher.
Christine is in 8th grade and is casted in the Barbershop Quartet for the Music Man.Recently, Christine has taken on the role of vocal director for her quartet, and has taken the lead on developing the harmonies to begin rehearsals for the Barbershop Quartet.
According to Christine, some of the challenges in advanced drama is finding monologues, and getting accents for different characters. Some activities she does after school are dance, theatre, and engineering.
“Her leadership and eagerness to make our musical the best it can possibly be has not gone unnoticed, from the beginning of the year she was the alter ego cheerleader, Christine has set the bar for high professionalism and attention to detail.” stated Mrs. Swarm.
In Christine’s opinion, advanced drama can get dramatic at some points, and she specifically likes to practice on accents and finding character. “Can’t wait to see what Christine brings to the Music Man — it’s going to awesome!”-Mrs. Swarm.
Congratulations, Christine Zarske, for being chosen as Advanced Drama’s student of the week!
