On Friday March 4th, the suspect walked into the bank around 12:50 p.m. and handed the teller a note saying that he had a gun and was demanding cash, reported Lt. Eric Point of the Placentia Police Department.
A man robbed a local Placentia Citibank and ran off with $2,000. Luckily no one had gotten hurt during this robbery.
Investigators thought he might be connected with many other banks in Los Angeles County, the Yorba Linda Star mentioned.
If you happen to be in a bank robbery the best thing to do is not do anything that might put yourself or others at greater risk or harm, stated Doug Johnson, the vice president of risk management policy at the American Bankers Association.
If anyone one has any information about his identity, they are asked to contact the Placentia Police Department at 714-993-8164.
