On November 12th at 2:00 P.M. a Nintendo Direct was held. A Nintendo Direct is a informative video that announces upcoming games and news involving Nintendo games. “The Legend of Zeld”a fans will want to know that in the Direct there is a “The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess” HD’s announcement and its release date of March 4th of 2016, an announcement of a wolf link amiibo compatible for said game, the confirmation that the new Zelda game on Wii U will come out some time in 2016, and free DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes named Den of Trials

For Pokémon fans you will want to look out for Pokémon Picross which was announced and will release early December, you’ll want to know that Pokkén Tournament will come out in Spring of 2016 and first print runs of the game will be bundled with a free Shadow Mewtwo amiibo card that lets you use Shadow Mewtwo without meeting any requirements.

For Wii U owners you should know that, Star Fox Zero will be released on April 22, 2016 and  an update for Splatoon is announced is and released shortly after at 5:00 P.M.

Some important information for 3DS owners is that Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam will come out January 22, 2016, Final Fantasy Explorers will be released on January 26, 2016, Fire Emblem Fates will release with standalone versions and with a special edition with all of its different versions with Birthright, Conquest, and Revelation all releasing on February 19, 2016 with DLC coming soon, Mega Man Legacy Collection and a collector’s edition containing a golden Mega Man amiibo with launch on February 23, 2016, Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow will re-release on the 3DS Virtual Console with a new wireless trading feature on the Nintendo Eshop on February 27, 2016, Hyrule Warriors Legends will release on March 25, 2016, Dragon Quest VII (7): Fragments of the Forgotten Past will launch in the Summer of 2016 along with Dragon Quest VIII (8): Journey of the Cursed King releasing sometime later in the same year, Project X Zone 2 will release on February 6, 2015 and finally, Terraria will launch in Early 2016.

The Final announcement was in a form of a trailer announcing Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII (7) as DLC in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS alongside an announcement of a Super Smash Bros.
