Looking for some fun and simple DIYs for Easter? Well we have some fun and festive DIYs that will make your Easter a little brighter!

 

The Jelly Bean Carrot: marthastewart.com

Materials:

  • Orange Jelly Beans
  • Plastic pastry bag
  • Green rickrack or ribbon
  • Easter basket (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Pour the Jelly Beans until the plastic pastry bag until it is ¾ of the way full
  2. Next, taking your green rickrack or ribbon tie the bag closed.
  3. Now you can take your “carrots” and put them in an Easter basket and even set them out as cute party favors.

Painted Nesting Eggs and Candle Holder: marthastewart.com

Materials:

  • Red and yellow liquid food coloring ( for nesting eggs)
  • Red and orange craft paint ( for candle holder)
  • Paintbrush
  • Wooden nesting eggs and candle holder

 

Instructions:

  1. Mix equal parts red and yellow food dyes; do the same for the red and orange paints. ( Don’t worry – the ending color will not be orange.)
  2. Using a paint brush, cover the desired areas of the egg holder with the craft paint and dye. Let the egg holders dry for 24 hours.

Washi Tape Easter Egg Garland: thetayloe-house.com

Materials:

  • Washi Tape
  • Printable egg shapes
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Any type of ribbon/string that you have

Instructions:

  1. First put together a printable page of eggs.
  2. Next, taking different types of washi tape with different patterns, out the lines of tape horizontally across the egg.
  3. Now taking your scissors cute out the outline of the egg.
  4. Finally glue these cut outs of eggs and hang in your desired area.
