Orange County fire investigators are still asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who threw a flaming container of fuel into a Yorba Linda home, destroying it and leaving a young woman and family dog injured on Wednesday, November 3 reported KTLA.

The suspect was dressed in a red pullover style jacket in blue jeans and wearing clear eyeglasses. He was described at having dark complexion brown or black hair and a heavy build. Authorities believe that the suspect may have suffered burns on his right hand, arm, and face. He also may have singed his facial hair. His clothes may have also been burned, reported ABC 7.

The suspect was caught on video breaking a window at a Yorba Linda home on Felicia Drive around 10:30 A.M. on November 3rd. The suspect then threw a flaming container of fuel into the home while the home owner’s daughter in her 20’s and a dog were inside the house. He fled the scene on a child’s BMX style bike, added ABC 7.

“We heard a loud pop, and it was really loud,” said neighbor Chris Dudzinski. “The front door was already engulfed in flames. There were flames coming out already from the house.”

The home owner’s daughter and family pet got treated for smoke inhalation following the blaze. The fire cost nearly 1 million dollars in damage, stated ABC 7.
