250 Million Dollar Indoor Water Park to be Built in Garden Grove

Great Wolf Water Parks
A 250 million dollar water park resort, one of the biggest indoor water parks in the world, is scheduled to open in Garden Grove, in early 2016, according to cnn.com.
In addition to the usual water park rides, including lazy rivers, wave pools, and water slides The Great Wolf Lodge will feature some signature rides such as a funnel ride or water coaster, said themeparks.about.com.
Great Wolf will also be unusual in another way. Only resort guests will be able to attend the water park. “The lines are never crazy and you always have enough towels and lounge chairs,” said Susan Storey, spokeswoman for Great Wolf Lodge.
“Whether its too hot, too cool, or it rains, being indoors we have the opportunity to take the weather out of the equation,” said Kimberly Schaefer, Chief Executive of Wisconsin-based Great Wolf Resort Inc. Her company has a dozen indoor water parks mostly in the Mid-West and the East-Coast, and is about to see if being indoors is an advantage in Southern California, according to ocregister.com.
Great Wolf will also feature many activities to help get the wrinkles out of their water-logged guests. They will feature huge arcades with redemption games, on-site restaurants, fitness centers, and Aveda Concept Spas. They will also include a MagiQuest interactive attraction. It will be a high-tech multiplayer fantasy environment that is somewhat like walking into a videogame, said themeparks.about.com. The resort also includes a club activity center for younger children and a Gr8 Space Club for older children, according to themeparks.about.com
