The movie, Maleficent made by Disney is a PG movie based on the original, Sleeping Beauty princess film. The 98 minute film was rated a 52% percent according to www.rottentomatoes.com. Maleficent explores the untold story of Disney’s villain from Sleeping Beauty and shows the betrayal and fierce desire to protect the moors, Maleficent’s home people. Maleficent cruelly places a curse on to the human king’s daughter, Aurora. The princess is caught in the middle of the conflict including the forest kingdom she grew up in and the humans. Aurora falls into the curse when she turns 16 and pricks her finger on the needle. Only true loves kiss can recover the princess.

 

Angelina Jolie plays the villainous, Maleficent and Elle Fanning plays the princess, Aurora www.imdb.com stated. Sharlto Copley plays the shape shifting animal-human, Stefan. Brenton Thwaites plays Prince Phillip, the prince who greets Aurora. Kenneth Cranham plays King Henry, the crazed father of Aurora and enemy of Maleficent.

 

Maleficent is rated PG and is 98 minutes long and is under the Fantasy category. This movie was directed by Robert Stromberg and already has $70 million according to www.hollywoodreporter.com.
