“This is the first New Super Mario Brothers that I don’t feel is lacking. It looks beautiful and the game play is as good as ever. But what I like most is the amount of content. I feel like there is so much to do and the challenge and rush mode is something that keeps bringing me back. I’d be surprised if you had a Wii U and didn’t have this game. If you don’t have it, get it, you won’t be disappointed,” said Crazytimmy223, a gamer and critic on www.metacritic.com. He rated it a 10 (out of 10).

New Super Mario Bros. U is the first Mario Game designed for the Wii U. After a while, Nintendo released New Super Luigi U, which is a separate game taking on a DLC (Dual-Listed-Company) strategy. An expansion pack is available for purchase that includes both New Super Mario Bros U and New Super Luigi U on one disc.

Although these games sound awfully similar, they have many contrasts. New Super Luigi U has the same worlds as New Super Mario Bros. U, but the levels are different. Also, in New Super Luigi U, the average time limit is 100 seconds rather than the classic 300 seconds used in New Super Mario Bros. U.

The four main playable characters in New Super Mario Bros. U are Mario, Luigi, Yellow Toad, and Blue Toad. The four main playable characters in New Super Luigi U are Luigi, Nabbit, Yellow Toad, and Blue Toad. Nabbit is also in New Super Mario Bros. U, but he is a thief who Mario has to catch after completing World 1, not a playable character. There is a new game-mode in New Super Mario Bros. U where the player can complete different missions as any of the four playable characters, but with the exception of the Mii character. A Mii is a custom Wii character the player can make. The only type of Mii that can be played as is one registered as “Favorite”.

I personally rate New Super Mario Bros. U a nine out of ten. The reason I rated it a nine is that Nintendo has made almost all of the recent Mario games similar to all the others. But aside from that fact, I find New Super Mario Bros. U’s HD feature to be really cool. I also like the fact that Nintendo decided to add in Nabbit and the Mii as characters. I rate New Super Luigi U a ten. The reason I rated this game a ten is because the levels are somewhat different from the ones in New Super Mario Bros. U and the new 100 second time limit. It also gives more credit to Luigi as an important Mario character. No more haunted mansions, being the shadow of Mario, or just being another character.
