“Timber” by Pitbull featuring Ke$ha hit the top five favorite songs this week in The Hot 100 on www.billboard.com. Although “Timber” came out on October 7th, the song has just recently became one of the most downloaded song in the US.

I’m taking a lot of freestyle music and flipping it,” Pitbull said about his new single “Timber” according to www.tmz.com. In his new song Pitbull takes a country style song and puts a twist in it making it a favorite hip-hop/rap song that most teens and even adults love.

“I love country music, blues, and punk, and one day I might make those kinds of records,” stated Ke$ha to CNN and now she did with the help of Pitbull in their new music video. The official music video for “Timber” begins with Ke$ha bursting through the double doors wearing a black bikini and rocking a pink and blue hair-do. Pitbull is dancing in a saloon for the first minute until his solo begins. Following Pitbulls’ first solo Ke$ha is in the pub and then Pitbull is seen on a beautiful island.

“No current top pop artist does mindless dancefloor fun better than Pitbull,”  stated Bill Lamb at about.com/ratings. “Yes, “Timber” would be impossible without the influence of Avicii’s boundary pushing “Wake Me Up,” and it’s not as artful, but this song is an outstanding party track.” The entire video may be  on http://www.vevo.com
