Thirteen year old Kokomo Murase wins gold medal at women’s X game Big Air Event on Saturday, May 19th 2018, reported onboardmag.com

Thirteen year old Kokoma Murase is a young snowboarder who has been talked about recently throughout the social media about how she could possibly be a new edition to the Japan snowboarding Olympic team in 2022.  These rumours came out because Kokomo put a video on the social media of her landing a double cork 1260 flip with little flaws, including a blind landing, according to onboardmag.com.

Just 4 months after this stunning video was released, Komoko Murase put her skills to the test.  Kokomo entered the women’s big air contest for the X games to prove herself. Already inspiring enough the fact that she is only 13, on her second run at the big air ramp, she dropped in regular, and flew right into a backside double cork 1080 mute.  With this extremely astonishing trick, she was placed 1st place, according to onboardmag.com.

On the next and final run, most thought that it couldn’t get better than this, but then history was made.  Kokomo dropped into the ramp once again in regular stance and then busted out a backside double cork 1260 mute, according to onboardmag.com. With this extremely amazing trick it was no surprise thirteen year old Kokomo Murase went home with a gold medal around her neck.

Im amazed by her age. This just goes to show that age and gender don´t matter and if you put your mind to something and work hard at it is can be done.
