BYMS eighth graders who are interested in participating sports as a freshman could join a summer sports camp offered at Esperanza and Yorba Linda High School this summer.

The summer camps are designed for coaches to evaluate where athletes should be placed in terms of Freshmen, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams. For players they can build team chemistry and learn and do drills. All sports from every season have a summer camp. Interview conducted with Esperanza athletic director Matt Slevcove.

To be able to do the summer sports camps there are some forms to be signed, a fee, and a yearly physical. Eighth graders can register at each high school or their online website.
