EHS Women’s Lacrosse Builds With Early Successes During Season

“On the field, we had a few early wins against two potential playoff teams, University (Irvine) and Great Oak (Temecula), as well as wins in our first round of league play against Santiago (Corona) and Yorba Linda,” stated Brian Eisenberg, Esperanza High School’s Women’s Lacrosse Head Coach.

“A few of our goals on the field for this season were to win our league and to make playoffs for the first time in program history.  Unfortunately, losing to a very senior heavy El Dorado, twice in league play, put a damper on those goals this year,” stated Coach Eisenberg.

Coach Eisenberg stated, “Fortunately, we only have one graduating senior from our varsity team and our JV team is having our most successful season yet with only 3 losses, so we look forward to achieving these goals next year.”

“In our game against Yorba Linda, it was exciting to make it a Breast Cancer Awareness game, as we have 3 moms in our program that have fought and are fighting against Breast Cancer,” stated Coach Eisenberg.
