“Our Goal is to Win Country League” YLHS Men’s Lacrosse


Yorba Linda High School men’s lacrosse coach, Mike Schreibers goal for his 2016-2017 team is to win Century League. Schreiber’s team had won for the past four years.

Schreiber has many goals for his team. The biggest goal of the season is to win Century League.

In a recent interview with the Matador Messenger, when asked what his goals are, Schriber stated “First goal is to always will the Century League. We have won the league the past 4 years and have not lost a league game during that time.”  The men’s lacrosse team wants to be the first PYLUSD school to be ranked in the top 12 of the County.

Since the season started on February 27, they scored 3-2. In an interview with the Matador Messenger, he stated, “however this past summer our team did win our first major tournament up in Santa Barbara which gave us excitement going into this current season. We are hoping to build on that win.”

The team’s next game will be on March 24 at 6:00 pm at YLHS and March 28 at 7:00 pm at El Dorado High School.
