The Esperanza Colorguard team will be performing their two West Power Regional shows in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Our show is titled “Unstable” and the general theme is keeping your own voice and staying true to who you are, even during dark times,” reported Robert Hahn, Colorguard Coach for the Esperanza team, in an interview with The Matador Messenger.

The first show will take place on March 25th at the Thomas and Mack Center (On the corner of East Tropicana Avenue and Swenson Drive).

The second show will take place on March 26th at the COX Pavilion, (Next to the Thomas and Mack Center).

The show will include Sabre, Rifle, Dance, and Flag.  “Each member will also have a life size “dummy” that they have to maneuver around the floor (sometimes while spinning their equipment at the same time),” according to Hahn.

Hahn’s team has put in a great deal of time into this show. “We started rehearsals in December. Including our class time and after school rehearsals, we normally are together 10 hours a week,” also according to Hahn.
