Strong Safety Kam Chancellor Done With the Holdouts

Kam Chancellor, Seahawks Pro Bowl Strong Safety, said that he was done with the holdout. The previous season, Chancellor held out for two months of practice and the first two games for a contract extension and higher pay. He seems more at peace with the Seattle Seahawks than he did a year ago, wrote ESPN.

“I learned that I’m a leader, that God put me on this earth to be a leader for my team,” Chancellor told the Seattle Times. “And the past is the past, and I’m here to lead my team to do exactly what I was created to do — nothing more, nothing less. I’m here to be the kind of man that helps pull through adversity for my teammates. The big brother, the leader, the captain, and that’s all I’m here to do and that’s what my vision is focused on right now.”

Weeks ago, John Schneider talked about Kam’s standing with the team. During the conversation, he was asked if Kam would be a Seahawk in 2016/2017. Schneider said, “Yeah, he’s a Seahawk, absolutely,” wrote The Seattle Times.
