The Golden State Warriors are now in the ranks with Michael Jordan’s 95-96 Chicago Bulls. They are tied at 72 wins in a season. They have one more game left against the Grizzlies. If they win, they break the Bulls’ record, but if they lose they are tied at 72 wins in one NBA season, wrote CBSSPorts.com.

“I can say that I actually got to witness some history,” James said Monday after the Cavs’ shootaround, in preparation to play the Atlanta Hawks at The Q with a little bit of history riding on that game.

The Warriors have lost two of their last six games and are only one win away from making history, but the debate of whether they should push for this win, or rest their top players for the Playoffs, wrote Sports Illustrated.

“I don’t even know what to say, really,” Kerr, the Warriors coach, said Sunday night. “It’s crazy. It just feels like a right-place-right-time type thing to be part of two teams that have performed like this and won at this level for the entire season. I’m pretty lucky, really, just to play next to Michael and Scottie and Dennis and play for Phil and come here and inherit this whole group. Steph and Klay and Draymond and Andre, and everybody else, as my first coaching job. A pretty good draw.”
