Some of the top footballers of the MLS, Frank Lampard, Kaka, Steven Gerrard, and Clint Dempsey are encouraging Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to play for the MLS, according to CNN.com.

Could they both end up playing in Major League Soccer before long? “Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract ends in 2018,” stated Real Madrid. “A lot can happen in 3 years considering the wild transfers of the soccer committee,” stated CNN Sports.

“I think that’s a real possibility,”  stated Lampard, the former Chelsea and England midfielder who now plays for the New York City FC.” “I think they’ll want to, and I think they’ll be embraced if they came here. Cristiano, particularly, I could see playing in America. I think the lifestyle would suit him, he’s a showman and a great player,”wrote CNN.com.

Cristiano stated “This country is brilliant, I like the soccer here”. MLS players reported,“This is a retirement for most players that came here and it might be the last place they will come,” reported MLSsoccer.com.
