Cristiano Ronaldo will be staying at Real Madrid this summer, but could be on the move come the end of the 2015-16 season, according to Spanish journalist Guile Balague.
This move would likely set off a chain reaction of deals around Europe reported espnfc.com.
“If he goes to Manchester United or Manchester City [this summer], he will make a difference, he will still be scoring and you could still get a lot out of him. So it would be stupid to get rid of him,” Balague told Sky Sports’ La Liga Weekly podcast.
If the January transfer window was something of a let-down, it may just be because the footballing world is preparing for a mammoth summer in 2016, according to Guillem Balague, stated espnfc.com.
“[Real] gave him a new deal recently and the idea is to keep him for the summer. Now next summer is when I think we will start hearing a lot of stories about Ronaldo where not only Madrid, but Ronaldo, may think about leaving reported cnn.com.
With the likes of United, City, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain bound to be interested in signing the Bernabeu star, we may see Europe’s elite keeping their powder dry ready for a bidding war in around 15 months stated, cnn.com.
