“We’ve heard a lot of negative news about teenage football players recently. And while some have engaged in awful behavior, the truth is that there are a lot of amazing people in the world,” Says coach of the Olivet Eagles in a CBS interview.

November 4, 2013 the whole football team from Olivet High School had a play so inspiring it will bring you to tears, like it did to wide receiver Justice Miller. The plan was to get as close to the goal line as possible with out scoring. Then they would bring out their secret weapon, Keith Oar. Keith is a learning disabled kid with boundary issues. They gave the ball to Keith and protected the Keith till he got into the end zone.

The coaches had no idea about this trick play and they were very mad once they took a knee at the 1 yard line, but once they crossed the goal line with Keith they were ecstatic. Keith wasn’t the only one who was significantly changed, Justice Miller admits in an interview with CBS “I would not have thought about doing that, and now that I did it I want to make everyone’s day.”

The whole school now respects Keith because he sits with his teammates at the lunch and when you are respected by the football team pretty much everyone respects you. Quarterback Parker Smith says in a CBS interview after the game “Keith’s smile was one he couldn’t forget when he scored the touchdown.”
