Coding Consoles: New Consoles Will Change the Gaming World

Three new consoles are coming out in 2020 and all of them have at least a million coders programming each console.

First, let’s start with the new console coming out in 2020, the Xbox 2 or otherwise known as the Xbox Scarlet. The Xbox scarlet produces 4 times the power of the Xbox 1 X which arrives in late 2020.

Project Scarlet will feature a custom AMD Zen 2 processor. Other features include ray tracing support, up to 120fps gameplay, 8K resolution, and GGDR6 memory.

The system will also have a custom SSD that promises a 40x performance increase and virtually no load times.

Now for the second console which is the new PS5 coming out in November 2020. The PS5 has amazing backward compatibility that allows you to play with PS4 players.

And the last piece of technology coming out is the Google Stadia. Which allows using a wireless controller on any google device. The google Stadia has no console but it is very cool.

These are some quotes from the founder of PS5:
Cerny: “I believe that we will be able to release it at an SRP that will be appealing to gamers in light of its advanced feature set.”

Rubin: “Meaning that it may cost a bit more but what you’re getting is well worth it?”

Cerny: “That’s about all I can say about it.”

From 1972 to 2020, consoles have changed the gaming world. It started when an inventor called Ralph Baer made the Brown box. Ralph Baer is considered the father of all games.

The “Brown Box,” was a prototype for the first multiplayer, multiprogram video game system. Every day, game designers are sitting in their lab designing faster, more powerful, and lightweight game consoles.

The top technology companies such as Xbox, PlayStation, and Google are constantly making new consoles.
