While the main competitors of the pickup truck industry are polishing off their 2018 models, Ford is refurbishing their classic Ford F-150, according to Google News.

The latest model, which will come with a price tag ranging from $25,925 to $60,315, was unveiled at Detroit’s North American International Auto Show during January 9th to January 22. The biggest changes have been made in style and powertrain choices since last year’s model. The F- model has held it for 35 years still is holding the best selling pickup title and Ford is working to keep the achievement, according to kbb.com.

The new model shows new head and taillights, a tailgate revision, and 10 grille treatments.16 2018 models will be on the market as of 2018. The new model feature a wi-fi hotspot option capable of serving 10 different devices, such as phones and laptops. It will feature auto emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, according to ford.com.

“The new F-150 even faster, even smarter, even better,” stated a Ford spokesperson at the 2018 Ford F-150 Unveiling At Detroit Auto Show NAIAS 2017.

Under the hood, the most significant change, will be two new engines and a 10-speed automatic transmission for all but the basic XL. A new 3.3-liter naturally aspirated V6 replaces the current 3.5-liter as the XL engine, delivering comparable output (282 horsepower, 253 pound-feet of torque). It’s mated to a 6-speed automatic, the same as the 2017 model, according to ford.com.
