Apple is developing two new iPhone models with curved-glass screens and enhanced sensors that detect different levels of pressure models with screens of 4.7 and 5.5 inches according to Bloomberg.com.
Despite the huge difference between the iPhone5s’ 4 inch display compared to the new 5.5 inch display, it’s the curved screen. These screen sizes are close rivals to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, which tops off at a 5.7 inch screen cnn.com reported and earlier this year Apple also filed a patent for an “electronic device with wrap around display.” abcnews.go.com reported.
Apple’s display will extend around the edges of the proclaimed new iPhone. Bloomberg also reported that the new phones would likely be released in the third quarter of next year, adding that Apple is also testing “pressure-sensitive technology,” which won’t be ready for the next iPhone launch.
