Festival Organized for Manchester Bombing Victims
A festival known as the Hope and Glory festival, that will take place in Liverpool’s city center on August 5 and 6, is being organized to raise money for the victims of the Manchester suicide bomber attack, according to The Washington Post.
All funds raised by the event will be donated to the victims and families of the victims in the Manchester attack, according to metro.co.uk.
Ariana Grande, the performer at the time of the attack, has backed the festival, stating “I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honor of and to raise money for the victims and their families,” reported Google News.
“I have lost count the number of times I have attended shows at Manchester Arena for professional purposes and personal enjoyment. I attended the vigil the following night in Albert Square and then attended the Simple Minds concert in Manchester that same night,” stated Lee O’Hanlon, a Hope and Glory Festival promoter, reported metro.co.uk.

It was such an unfortunate event that happened during the festival. Though it has happened, it’s good that Ariana is raising money for the victims and their families.
