Tiger Woods Found Sleeping Behind the Wheel

Tiger Woods was arrested due to a charge of driving under the influence on Monday morning, May 30th, by his home in Jupiter, Florida, according to espn.com. “I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions,” stated Tiger Woods (Eldrick Tont Woods), an American professional golfer.

According to  www.washingtonpost.com, Tiger Woods was arrested on Memorial Day and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 7:18 A.M. and released at 10:50 A.M.He was driving in his black Mercedes at 1 P.M. with his two children in the car and ended up falling asleep in the car. Woods also seemed confused when talking with the police, reported usatoday.com. The police made sure that his kids were safe and ok, according to nypost.com.  

“What happened was an unexpected reaction to a prescribed medication. I didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly,” Tiger Woods stated in an interview with cnn.com.

“According to the police report, one prescription Woods has is the opioid pain reliever Vicodin, possibly related to the back surgery — though Woods’s agent would not say if that was the reason,” stated www.statnews.com.
