Orange County’s fast food icon, In N Out, “popped up” in London and in one hour sold a month worth of food on September 21, 2016.
Hundreds of customers, but limited stock left many disappointed. It has been stated that “Most people have waited five hours for their food at the pop up version of In N Out”, reported Business Insider.
Attendees were given gold wristbands which guaranteed that they would receive burgers, while some in line did not receive wristbands. “First come, first served. Limited quantities for sale,” the ad in the Camden New Journal stated.
Even with the success of this pop-up for In N Out, don’t expect a permanent spot in the the UK.“We have done events like this before in other countries and they are just one part of our efforts to promote and expand our brand as well as determine the best way to continue reaching out to customers around the world,” reported by eaters.com.
“People queued for hours to taste the infamous “double-double” (a double cheeseburger with two beef patties)”, according to Business Insider. In N out’s last pop up in London was in 2012.
In N Out was first established in Baldwin Park, CA October 22, 1948 by Harry Snyder and now there are 313 all over the world,with their official headquarters in Irvine, CA.
