An experienced British sniper rescued lives in Iraq by killing five members of the Islamic State terror group with just three shots, an Army source told the daily express Monday, December 14, wrote foxnews.com.

The source reported that an undefined Special Air Service sniper planned a potential terrorist attack two weeks ago, shooting three jihads wearing suicide vests at a bomb factory outside of the ISIS-occupied city of Mosul. The other two that were murdered were said to be ISIS guards, reported foxnews.com.

“The sniper shot the first jihad in the chest, detonating his explosive device and killing him instantly, along with two ISIS guards sat in a nearby car,” the report advanced. “The second terrorist was killed with a head shot, as he and the third man tried desperately to get back into the locked factory. The third jihad also died when his explosive vest was set off by a third and final well-aimed shot from the colour sergeant.”

The deadly accurate sniper most likely saved the lives of hundreds of people in the region- the jihads he executed were about to launch a bomb attack, according to military.id.me.

“This was classic SAS mission,” stated a British Army source to the Express. “About three weeks ago, the intelligence guys got information that a bomb factory had been set up in a nearby village. With just three well-aimed shots, that single team has probably saved the lives of hundreds of innocent people. The unit was sent to see if they could identify the house and the bombers,” the source stated, according to ibtimes.co.uk.
