American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (A.F.S.P) is sponsoring “Out of the Darkness Walks” for suicide prevention on The event starts at 9:30 am and ends at 12:00 pm, Sep. 23, 2017 at Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley CA, according to volunteermatch.org

The A.F.S.P’s goal is to reach $120,000 for suicide prevention, and has raised $105,840 so far. “Walking in Out of Darkness means joining hundreds of thousands walking to raise funds for the research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss,” according to ocweekly.com
