PYLUSD Showcases High School Programs for Eighth Grade Families

Eighth grade students and their families are invited to attend the PYLUSD High School Academic Showcase and find out about what the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District high schools have to offer according to http://www.pylusd.org/.

The reason for this event is to give eighth grade students and their families a “sneak peek” as they prepare to make choices about classes, academies, and other opportunities at each high school according to http://www.pylusd.org/ .

The event will be held for two nights. The first night is on Thursday, November 6; were families can see the opportunities offered at El Dorado and Esperanza High Schools. On the following Thursday, November 13, the showcase will focus on Valencia and Yorba Linda High Schools according tohttp://www.pylusd.org/.

Both evenings will start at 6:30 p.m. and be held at the Yorba Linda Community Center, located at 4501 Casa Loma Avenue in Yorba Linda according to http://www.pylusd.org/.

PYLUSD Superintendent Dr. Doug Domene has made engaging the entire community in the process on of his five key “focus areas” for the district.  “We will establish a culture that encourages positive relationships among our students, staff and parents as well as educational and business partners” Stated Dr. Domene.
