Crystals: “A Peaceful Way to Show our Love for Mother Nature”

Crystals are very popular worldwide, and they come in all different shapes and colors. From rough orange to smooth pink, they are each unique rocks favored by millions of people. Crystal designs and jewelry, even house decor are also very trendy and adds a bit of sparkle to almost anything.

For millions of years, crystals have been growing from the earth. Connecting with these majestic rocks is a peaceful way to show our love for mother nature and welcome higher vibrations and healing into our lives. However, crystals aren’t just plain rocks. They have multiple purposes and have very fascinating ways of healing.

These colorful rocks originally form in nature, starting with crystallization. According to tinyrituals.co, “crystals form in nature when molecules gather to stabilize when liquid starts to cool and harden.” Most crystals start very small, but as more and more atoms collectively join together onto the surface of the crystal, it grows larger. A few common places to find crystals are in creeks, rocks, mountains, caves, and certain beaches.

Some believe that every crystal has different energy and vibrations, so every crystal helps with different healing energy. For example, rose quartz is the crystal of unconditional love. It is said to boost feelings of self-love and encourage loving relationships. Tiger’s eye is the crystal of protection and healing of psychological illnesses, and selenite is a healing crystal that promotes peace, calmness, and mental clarity.

Crystals have been used for healing for around six thousand years now. They date back all the way to even when the ancient Egyptians and ancient Greeks lived. An article titled “Crystal Healing Practices in the Western World and Beyond” states that ancient Egyptians mined for crystals and used them commonly to make jewelry. Crystals or gemstones were also used within their practice. Crystals used to be used a lot in ancient times, especially for jewelry and cultural practices.

Some people believe that crystals may have healing properties. In an interview with the Matador Messenger, a worker from Crystal Vibrations, a shop specializing in crystal vibrations stated, “They give people hope for a better life. Whether placebo or real, the results are real.”
