Homeless and stray animals have increased over the years. Approximately 6.5 million animals enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year, according to ASPCA.org.

Animal shelters throughout Orange County are needed more than ever. The rate of homeless/stray animals are steadily increasing.

Out of the 6.5 million animals that get put in shelters each year, more than half of them won’t make it out alive, according to thedogrescuers.com.

Want to help? Well, there are many animals in need of loving owners, warm homes, and friendly faces.

Some animal shelters in Orange County include OC Animal Care and MeoowzResQ. Animal shelters in Irvine include Irvine Animal Care Center and Southern California Pomeranian Rescue. A Popular animal shelter in Chino Hills includes Priceless Pet Rescue.
