Nintendo Reveals a New Game System; The Switch
Nintendo has revealed a new unique gaming console called Switch — one part mobile, and one part home console, stated CNN.com.
The console will be released in March of 2017 and will require a game cartridge but comes with a kickstand. The digital games or prices will not be reviewed until closer to release, reported CNN.com.
Reggie Fils Aime, President, of Nintendo of America, stated “Nintendo Switch allows gamers the freedom to play however they like”.
Users can then pop the tablet out of the Switch Console and plug it into a “Switch Dock” base station for the TV. “It will automatically transition to portable mode when it’s lifted from the dock. Users will be able to slide off the sides of the Switch”, to form two controllers that you can use to play wherever you go, stated nintendo.com.
In addition, users will be able to bring their Nintendo Switch systems together to enjoy local multiplayer face to face competition, according to nintendo.com. Nintendo will also be having partner’s such as Activision and Ubisoft, EA Sports, Marvelous, Sega and Warner Brothers, stated polygon.com.
