Taylor Swift Donates $50,000 to Cancer Patient

Taylor Swift has donated $50,000 for treatment for a former backup singer’s  13 month old nephew who was diagnosed with cancer, reported CNN.

Toshie Davidson, who worked as a backup dancer on Swift’s “1989 Tour” posted details on  social media about Ayden’s condition. “They are still running tests to find out the stage and how far it has spread.”

A GoFundMe page offered additional info. “He was just diagnosed with cancer yesterday after being in the ICU for over 2 weeks,” the page noted. “At first, doctors believed he had pneumonia after they found fluid in his lungs.” The goal was set at $20,000 for Ayden, and Swift put in to offer her donation, according to ABC News.

Davidson communicated his appreciation on Instagram, saying Swift was “an angel and my family can’t thank her enough.” “She is such an incredible human being,” he wrote. “This will help Lil Toshie in this time of need.”

“My youngest nephew Ayden ‘Lil Toshie’ only 13 months old has been diagnosed with Cancer,” Toshie wrote. “Keep him in your prayers please.” While Taylor Swift is a bit busy selling out stadiums all over the world and shattering records on the charts, she is always making time to give back to loved ones and fans, stated www.billboard.com.

Requests for confirmation to Swift’s representative went unanswered at press time. “All of us are praying for you and your mama and sending so much love your way. Love, Taylor,” reported www.billboard.com.
