Cheap and Chic: Easy DIY Mother’s Day Gifts

Tired of giving your mom those gift cards to her favorite restaurant or her favorite perfume year after year? Well we have a solution for you! Here are some quick and easy Mother’s Day DIYs.

Materials:
- Heat seal-able tea bags
- Lavender buds
- Chamomile buds
- Peppermint Leaves
- Dried organic lemon verbena
Steps:
- Fill your tea bags with ¼ cup of lavender, chamomile, peppermint, or lemon verbena.
- Next, if you have smaller bags top 5 1/4 – inch starched muslin circles with one tablespoon of botanicals; then tie with a piece of twine.
- With these scents bathers can now customize their bath.

Materials:
- Hot glue gun
- Fake flowers (any color is fine)
- Scissors
- A can of white spray paint
- Paper mache letter
- X-Acto knife
Steps:
- First, take your X-Acto Knife and carefully cut off the top of the paper mache letter. Remove this, so now your letter is empty.
- Now, taking your spray paint, paint the interior and exterior of the letter and let each caot dry for at least one hour.
- When your paint is dry take your flowers and cut off the stems so now your flowers are completely flat.
- Take your glue gun and add a dab of glue to the back side of the flower and keep repeating this until the whole letter is filled.
- If you happen to have any empty spaces you can fill it in with individual petals or leaves.

Materials:
- A small jar
- Coconut oil
- Sugar
- White ribbon
Steps:
- Mix 1 cup of white sugar and ¼ cup of coconut oil in a bowl.
- Keep mixing until the oil and the sugar are completely combined.
- Now put your DIY scrub in your jar and tie a bow around it.
