Eighth-grader Kassidi Miller-Hermanson was selected student of the week by Mrs. Masone for advanced art.
Initially, Kassidi had been “pleasantly surprised…”. She “…never expected being chosen for…” student of the week.
In an interview with the Matador Messenger, Mrs. Masone stated that “All of her projects are spectacular! She is building a portfolio that showcases her remarkable talent”.
Some things Kassidi enjoys include “… the variety of mediums and topics we use in class, especially home valmy paintings,”. In advanced art, Kassidi has “… found some mediums and artistic techniques,” challenging but “always get used to them with practice,” says Kassidi.
Mrs. Masone says that “Kassidi’s artistic skills are highly developed. Her rendering and portraits are extremely realistic! She’s always focused and works hard on every project. She’s always determined and driven to succeed
Some things that Kassidi appreciates about Mrs. Masone is “…how Mrs. Masone structures projects, time usage, and how she puts her students first”.
Outside of school, Kassidi likes “drawing, painting, writing and reading”.
