This year, Bernardo Yorba Middle School is hosting a Scholastic “Wild Wild West” themed book fair. It will be held in the library before school, break, lunch, and after school. It will close after break on Friday.

In addition to books, visitors can purchase a variety of other items such as erasers, pencils, pens, bookmarks, highlighters, and jewelry, according to the school’s librarian Mrs. McCann. For every book you purchase, you will receive a free bookmark and a raffle ticket to win a new book.

“BYMS gets 50% of the total sales in book credit.  This book credit is used to purchase new books for the library,” stated Mrs. McCann. If you aren’t able to visit our book fair, you can purchase books and much more online. Parents are invited to shop in the book fair anytime it’s open, but they must sign in at the office first.

Parent volunteers are still needed, and may sign up at This event will last from October 30th to November 3th.
