Math Student of the Week: Andrew Fisher

“I felt very honored and grateful about being picked for student of the week,” stated 7th-grade BYMS student, Andrew Fisher in an interview with the Matador Messenger. Fisher was picked by Mr. Fain as math student of the week.

“Andrew Fisher is a good worker and an excellent student. He loves to help others in class,” reported Mr. Fain, Andrew’s Math Teacher.

“Andrew helped another student in class that is struggling with math, teaching him the entire lesson. He wants to help others be successful,” added Mr. Fain.

Andrew stated, “I enjoy that Mr. Fain actually teaches the class, because I understand it. I find it challenging when I have missed a day. I just get confused. When he explains it to me I understand.”

Outside of math and school, Fisher also enjoys playing golf.
