“I was surprised and happy to be chosen as the student of the week,” stated Julia Chan, a 7th-grade BYMS student chosen as science student of the week.
Julia stands out for her, “excellent skill, organization, determination, and creativity for all assignments completed in class,” stated Mr. Tredick, 7th-grade BYMS science teacher. “She comes to class prepared to learn. She participates and works well with others. Provides a model for other students to follow.”
One particular project or assignment for which this student demonstrated excellence was the “Evolution project: Julia created a very professional brochure and five-page on antibiotic resistance,” explained Mr. Tredick.
“This class is very fun. Science may be hard sometimes, but Mr. Tredick makes learning easy.”
Chan states that in her free time she “enjoys art and painting very much, and I also enjoy playing saxophone.”
