Bernardo Yorba Middle School kids are encouraged to wear green on March 17, 2017. Wearing Green will count for your fourth-period class competition. Wearing Green on Friday contributes to the Spirit of St. Patrick’s Day.

St. Patrick’s day is an Irish holiday where  St. Patrick became a minister in the 15th century.

Pinball, Foosball, and Freeze Hockey will be played during this week. The mini-games will only be out in quad at lunch time.There is a total of five stands.

“Saint Patrick was a fifth-century Romano-British Christian missionary and bishop in Ireland. Known as the Apostle of Ireland, he is the primary patron saint of Ireland, along with saints Brigid of Kildare and Columba,” according to Google.com.

Saint Patrick lived from 385 AD and died on March 17, 461 AD. St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated around the world. St. Patrick helped the poor and was remembered for his unselfish work.
