Mr. Tredick Becomes New Science Teacher

“My love for everything history and science influenced me to be a teacher,” stated Mr. Tredick, new BYMS 7th and 8th-grade science teacher in an interview with the Matador Messenger.
Mr. Tredick was previously a student teacher for Mr. Spoonhower this past year, and he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History from California State University, Fullerton. Mr. Tredick passed a credential test to be qualified as a science teacher.
“To help everyone of my students succeed and instill and desire to learn and enjoy science” explained Mr. Tredick when explaining his main goal for this year.
“The most challenging part is thinking of new ways to try and make learning science even better, and the most rewarding part is teaching a subject I enjoy. Doing really cool experiments in class is also something I look forward to” stated Mr. Tredick.
Mr. Tredick found being a tutor in high school and college helped him prepare to be a teacher as well. A few activities Mr. Tredick enjoys doing out of school are playing basketball, watching movies, and going out for dinner with friends and family.
