The REACH Foundation is hosting a concert, “PYLUSD Brings Forth the Music” in which students from Bernardo Yorba, Wagner Elementary, Travis, Tuffree Middle, Kraemer Middle, and Yorba Linda Middle schools perform together at the PYLUSD Preforming arts center at El Dorado High School on Sunday October 25, 2015.President of The REACH Foundation, Julie Nibali, stated. Tickets are $12 for children and $20 for adults.
“This concert is a benefit for the purchase of musical instruments for our fourth grade students. The second act is “The Alley Cats.” They are a professional 50’s Doo-Wop group (a style of pop music marked by the use of close harmony vocals originating in the US in the 1950s) that performs all around the world,” reported Nibali
“The mission of The R.E.A.C.H. Foundation is to seek, explore and develop educational experiences and opportunities that help prepare PYLUSD students to become 21st Century Learners,” according to Nibali.
“It is our belief that providing greater exposure to the powerful benefits of critical thinking (Academics), creativity (Arts), and healthy well-being (Athletics) will aid our students to reach their highest potential. The extra heights our students reach will be the distinguishing factor to their future success.” Reported Julie Nibali.
“REACH is a nonprofit education foundation for all of the schools in the Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District,” According to Julie Nibali. “Community members can support REACH by attending our events such as this concert and our biggest fundraiser the ShamRockn’ Run 5K Run & 2K Fun Run in March. We also have a yearlong fundraising campaign called Brighter Future.”
