Mrs. Lukach, the Esperanza High School (EHS) activities director, loves planning activities for the students, and she loves the school.

“I want the students to day to have the best time in high school and look back and say that was so much fun!” states Meghann Lukach, who has been at Esperanza for seven years after teaching at Yorba Linda Middle School as a physical educator.

Some of Mrs. Lukach’s favorite Esperanza activities to plan are Spirit Week for the Yorba Linda Football Game, the canned food drive against YLHS (Yorba Linda High School), the shoe drive for clash of the classes, the Clash of the Classes Spirit Rally, and What if Week.

The activities happening at Esperanza in October are the home football game on Oct. 2nd, the canned food drive against YLHS starting on Oct. 19th and ending on Oct. 28th, Chick-Fil-A night on Oct. 28th to support Esperanza, and the EHS against YLHS football game on Oct. 30th at 7 p.m. in the Shapell Stadium.

Mrs. Lukach decided to be an activities director because she wants the students to have fun, and she wants to plan great activities for the students like when she was in Chino High School for her freshman year and Diamond Bar High School for sophomore thru senior year.

Mrs. Lukach attended California State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. She also earned a Masters of Science degree in Physical Education at Azusa Pacific University.

“The most challenging part is making sure every student feels welcomed and apart of the Esperanza campus,” Meghann Lukach shares.
