80 Detained, 2 Arrested In Huntington Beach

Approximately 80 people were detained and two people were arrested from a mob style robbery at a 7-Eleven in Huntington Beach, according to the police, on Sunday, January 8, stated ocregister.com.

Police arrested Isaiah Bryant, 21, a Los Angeles civilian, and Wynzel Worthan, 18, a Compton resident, for being the masterminds behind the robbery at the 7-Eleven, according to latimes.com.

A large group of people went inside a 7-Eleven, according to a witness. As some started to take items, the other half started to push the clerk away from stopping them, according to ocregister.com.

A witness said they had seen the mob go into a party bus. When the police found the party bus near the 7-Eleven, they found seven loaded handguns, reported latimes.com.

Each person was detained and investigated by the police. All 80 people got released and only two were found to be the crime suspect, according to the ktla.com.

In total 1,000 dollars was taken out of items. The clerk wasn’t harmed and the store remained closed until two days after the robbery occurred, reported the ocregister.com.
