Rit dye

Large Clamp
-
Bucket of Hot/Warm Water
Steps:
-
Get gloves and cover your ground with a tarp (Do outside).
-
Take the clamp and clip it to a clippable area (like a pole). Get a bucket of hot water and pour Rit Dye into the bucket until the desired color.
-
Every few minutes, move the clamp up 1-2 inches to get the ombre effect.
-
Once done, let the bag drip over the bucket until it stops, then take the bag and wash it with cold water until the water is clear.
-
Then machine-wash in warm water with detergent, and air or machine dry. Washed it by itself just in case all the dye hasn’t been rinsed out.
-
You are done! Just dry and give it to your mom.

DIY Luxurious Bath Bombs
You Will Need:
-
1 cup baking soda
-
½ cup citric acid
-
½ cup Epsom salt
-
1 tsp. Water
-
2 tsp. Essential oil
-
3 tsp. Olive oil
-
Food coloring (optional)
-
Bowl
-
Whisk
-
Jar
-
Bath Bomb mold
Steps:
-
Place the dry ingredients in a bowl and then mix them all evenly with the whisk.
-
In a separate container, mix the liquid ingredients together. Note that in this step, the essential oils, fragrances, and colors are added. This is an important step! Make sure to pick out lots of fragrance oils to try out here, as you can make many fabulous combinations for bath time.
-
Slowly add the liquid mixture to the dry mix, a spoonful at a time.
-
When well mixed, you simply pack this mixture into a bath bomb mold and pack tightly, then let it dry. Work quickly so as not to let the bath bomb mixture dry out.
-
Once dry, take out of the mold and your done.
Foot Print Stool
You will need:
-
Finishing craft spray or poly
Steps:
1. Paint your stool. Let dry, then distress the edges if desired.
2. Footprints: I used spray paint, because it dries faster than wall paint, and doesn’t get as gloppy. I sprayed the paint onto a paper plate then using your finger or small brush, apply the paint to the bottom of the foot. Place it directly onto the surface, making sure to press down each toe. Press firmly, then carefully lift up. Repeat for each footprint. Let dry.
