The Weekend, Justin Bieber, and Adele Spotlighted at 2016 Billboard Music Awards

The Weekend , Taylor Swift and Adele were some of the top winners at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards held at T-mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 22, 2016.

According to, The Weekend was a big winner taking home eight awards which included Top R&B artist and Hot 100 artist. The Weekend also won Top R&B album for the album Beauty Behind the Madness.

Beauty Behind the Madness was released through XO/Republic Records on Aug. 28 and is the third consecutive top 10 album for The Weekend, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye,” reported “It follows 2012’s Trilogy (it debuted and peaked at No. 4) and 2013’s Kiss Land(a No. 2 debut/peak).
