Annual Music Festival “Wango Tango” at StubHub Center Upholds Expectations


This weekend was a turn of events for the music lovers of LA. Not only was Beyonce performing at the Rose bowl for her Lemonade tour, just down the 110 freeway at the StubHub center in Carson, 102.7 KIIS FM’s Wango Tango was kicking off with some of the newest hits for the thousands of screaming fans to sing along with.

Since Wango Tango started in 1998, it has been held at various locations throughout LA. At this year’s Wango Tango, some of the biggest names in music like Ariana Grande, Zayn Malik, Fifth Harmony, The Chainsmokers, Demi Lovato, and many more performed on the monstrous stage.

The idea for the day-long concert was conceived by the former marketing director, Von Freeman, and the General Manager of KIIS FM at the time, Roy Laughlin. Wango Tango has continued to become more and more popular each year since it began.
