“My advice to any actors are to never give up and you can do anything you want to, even if people doubt you,” stated Garrett Ryan a 16 year old actor that has been in movies such as, Insidious Chapter 2 and 3, Oculus, Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer and Trust, in an exclusive interview with Matador Messenger.
Ryan is best known for playing Jenkins Abbot on the Young and the Restless, a CBS soap opera, and he has appeared in Criminal Minds and CSI: NY, mentioned the famousbirthdays.com.
The actor started his career when he appeared in the Cold Case at age 7. “My favorite movie was the Insidious series, it was fun to be in a scary but yet cool movie,” stated Ryan.
In Insidious Chapter 2 and 3 he played “Young Josh”,the younger version of Josh Lambert. “A prequel set before the haunting of the Lambert family that reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity,” reported IMDb explaining information about Insidious Chapter 3.
“As you may know my breakout movie was Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer, this really started my career. Even though this movie was way different than any of the other movies I had done. It was a more childish movie, but it was still fun. This movie helped me learn how to play different characters,” Ryan mentioned.
Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer was released June 10, 2011. Garrett Ryan has starred as Rocky Zane, one of Judy Moodys best friends. Two years after this film he starred in Oculus as Tim Russell, reported IMDb
