The official eighth Harry Potter story, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, is going worldwide on July 31, 2016 for download, stated mnn.com.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, written by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and director John Tiffany, is actually the script of the already sold-out play debuting in London at the Palace Theatre on July 30, 2016, as stated in washingtonpost.com.

“Rowling announced that the script of the play will in fact be released as a two-part book, at 12:01 a.m. on July 31, 2016,” stated washingtonpost.com.

The script starts where The Deathly Hallows left off, 19 years after the Battle of Hogwarts when Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione are on platform 9¾ sending their kids off to Hogwarts, mnn.com stated.

The plot revolves around Harry Potter, age 36, and his youngest son, Albus. Harry, an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, husband, and father of three school-age children, battles with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs while Albus struggles with the family legacy he never wanted. “As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places,” as stated in pottermore.com.
