Finding Dory, Disney’s sequel to Finding Nemo, will be premiering June 17, 2016, according to IMDb. The plot for this sequel concern’s a blue fish that has short-term memory lost and she somehow reunites with her loved ones and learns the true meaning of family.

“I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time. I’m not mad. It took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.’ But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic,” added Ellen DeGeneres (who voiced Dory).

“And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, its really funny, ,and the best part is- it’s got a lot more Dory,” she added

According to Stanton, the new movie set is along the California coastline. It is about a year after the first film, Finding Nemo, and features characters as Marlin, Nemo, and some more new characters.

The returning cast from Finding Nemo to Finding Dory are Andrew Stanton, Bob Peterson, and Ellen DeGeneres.
