The Diary of Anne Frank is a diary belonging to a German girl, Anne Frank, that was written when she and her family were escaping the Nazis. Anne Frank, her family, and the Van Daan family, were forced to go into hiding to avoid the Nazis, but they were eventually found and taken to a concentration camp. Everyone died except for Anne Frank’s father, who had the book published. Otto Frank, Anne’s father, is no longer alive today.
