“After more than 80 shows across 20 countries, their On The Road tour came to an end in Sheffield. From this point on, the band only have a few one-off appearances at music awards shows before they go their separate ways in March 2016,” www.bbc.co.uk reported.

1D still has a number of promo appearances and award shows lined up before they hop off on their break in March 2016, but as for touring, well, that’s it for the time being, according to www.mtv.co.uk.

The last concert of their tour, On The Road Again, for their latest album Four got very emotional between the fans and One Direction. “Their emotional fans were clearly moved by the occasion, which saw the singers embrace each other on stage as they bid farewell to this part of their lives…for now at least,” www.glamourmagazine.co.uk stated.

One Direction insisted that they are not breaking up, but only having a long break in 2016. “Speaking to the fans, Niall said ‘I can tell you this, we will be back’ while Liam reassured fans by saying ‘this is the end of the On The Road Again Tour, not the end of One Direction,’” www.bbc.co.uk explained.

“Many fans thought that Zayn Malik, former member of 1D, was going to make a special appearance at the last concert of On the Road Again tour, but in truth, it was pretty much the same old story as the boys went through their huge back catalogue during the two hour concert,” www.bbc.co.uk remarked.
